# Get a next action

> Fetch a single next action by ID.

Returns one [next action](https://docs.kwugwo.africa/ugwo/next-action-object.md). Useful after a
`ugwo.activity.next_action.*` webhook, which carries the action's
`uid` but not its activity: keep the activity and ugwo IDs you got
when you created the activity.

## Path parameters

**ugwoUid** `string` *required*

The ugwo ID, `ugw.XXXX.YYYY...`.

**activityUid** `string` *required*

The activity ID, `act.XXXX.YYYY...`.

**actionUid** `string` *required*

The next action ID, `uac.XXXX.YYYY...`. Must belong to the activity.
